
About Sigiriya
Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin that rises 200 meters above the surrounding jungle. Built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa, it features stunning frescoes, landscaped gardens, and the famous Lion's Paw entrance. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmarks.
